Description
Groundcover with Character and Color Year Round
Stonecrop, or sedum, is a terrific groundcover that just got even better with the new and improved Angelina Sedum!
Finely dissected, needle-like foliage is a brilliant yellow in summer. As it cools down in the fall, the ends of the leaves turn to an orange ember, and remain glowing throughout the winter months.
Angelina Sedum blooms in early summer with showy, plate-like heads of starry yellow flower clusters on sturdy stems up to 8 inches.
Thick, succulent leaves help Stonecrop to withstand dry periods and makes it extremely drought-tolerant.
Fast growth and a dense, mat-like form make this the groundcover of choice for borders and rock gardens. It looks excellent on slopes or cascading over the edge of container plantings.
This is one of the most popular evergreen perennials, with good reason. Angelina Sedum is robust, low-maintenance, and easy to grow.
